Don’t forget to buy some tea and enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds featuring various tea varieties. In the afternoon, visit Temple of the scared tooth relic & enjoy a Cultural Dance.
After breakfast, tour the Orangefield Tea Factory with Sebastian, a third-generation tea producer. Enjoy a detailed, personalized tour, purchase high-quality tea, and savor a superb cup of tea. In the afternoon, visit Ambuluwawa’s unique blend of nature and human creation, featuring a conference hall, agrarian center, and Buddhist area. Enjoy stunning views, water features, and deer at the summit.
After an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast, your driver/guide will take you to Hatton, the heart of Sri Lanka’s Hill Country. Enjoy the lush tea plantations, scenic winding roads, and charming hamlets. Stay in converted tea bungalows with a personal butler and an executive chef. Finish your day with a unique tea-infused dinner.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Dunkeld Tea Factory, where a resident tea planter will explore the history, manufacturing, and flavor creation of Ceylon tea. Discover the heritage of tea-making and savor a special high tea with a variety of unique flavors.
Travel to Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka’s picturesque colonial city, nestled in lush hills. Take a scenic local train ride through tea estates, enjoy street food and local music on board, and admire the tea pickers at work. End your day in a charming mountain loft, formerly used for drying tea leaves.
Pick your own tea leaves in traditional attire and Return to the Heritance Mini Tea Factory, where the chief tea taster, will inspect your efforts! Later, visit Ambewela Dairy Farm for fresh milk and cheese from their top-quality cattle.
After breakfast, head to Ella, stopping to admire Ella Gap, Ravana Ella waterfalls, and Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. After visit Amba Tea Estate for a tour, artisanal tea tasting, and a chance to buy unique teas. Check into your retreat and enjoy stunning views of the lush tea estates.
Leave the tea country for Galle’s beautiful coastline. Stop at Dambatenne Tea Factory for a tour and enjoy views from Lipton’s Seat. Witness the scenic shift from hills to the charming Southern coast and explore the historic city of Galle.
Explore Handungoda Estate, famous for its untouched ‘Virgin white teas,’ and enjoy a tour of the tea fields and factory, plus a tea and cake break. Later, discover Galle’s World Heritage site with a leisurely walk-through Dutch-colonial architecture, mosques, churches, boutique shops, and cafes.
Conclude your journey in Colombo, Sri Lanka’s bustling capital. Discover its blend of colonial and modern landmarks, including the cricket green and Independence Hall, and take in sunset views from Galle Face terrace. Finish with a high tea featuring a selection of delicious foods and desserts.
